Back in 2018, Josef Donhauser was honored as Austria's Culinary Ambassador for his commitment to transparent origin labeling on trains. Since then, DoN's has embraced this transparency with conviction, offering a food and beverage selection on board in which over 80% of the products come from Austria.

Here's how it's done

Regional partners provide the basis for our delicacies, and the recipes of award-winning chef Bernie Rieder make the on-board menu a real treat on rails. Everything is cooked and served with love and passion – and you can taste it.
